Information We Collect
We divide information collected into technical network signals and user-provided creative submissions:
Automated Technical Signals
- Device Viewport: Screen width and pixel density to serve appropriately compressed WebP/AVIF images.
- Linguistic Preference: Active language node (`swdoo`, `engdoo`, `frdoo`, etc.) to route local humor.
- Network Telemetry: Cryptographic IP hash used exclusively by Cloudflare edge shields to block automated bot raids and click fraud.
Voluntary Creator Content
- Memes, graphic edits, captions, and attached comedic audio labels.
- Citizen handle, display name, avatar, and optional profile bio.
- Public reactions (likes, saves, story submissions, forum comments).
EXIF Metadata & Physical Location Safeguards
When taking photos on mobile devices, cameras frequently embed sensitive EXIF data, including precise GPS coordinates, device serial numbers, and camera timestamps.
Automatic EXIF Stripping on Upload
RushMeme's upload pipeline automatically scrubs and discards all EXIF metadata from uploaded meme images before publishing them to the Cloudflare R2 / CDN delivery nodes. Your physical home address and GPS coordinates are never stored or exposed to other users.
Creator Financial & Payout Confidentiality
For creators enrolled in the 40% Creator Pool or receiving fan tips:
Your accumulated balance, withdrawal history, and tip breakdown are accessible only by you within your private Revenue Dashboard console.
M-Pesa phone numbers and payment routing coordinates are encrypted and transmitted directly to regulated banking gateways; they are never shared publicly.
Contextual Resonance Engine (CPS) Telemetry
